Hi! It’s been a while since we updated this blog, especially me. But I think it’s time to start again. Is there anyone out there still reading?
Anyway, earlier today I was scrolling through Pinterest and found a reportage about the home of the Swedish Architect Andreas Martin-Löf from Residence Magazine. The reportage is from 2018 but the style fits right in today’s 2020.
The apartment is located in Stockholm’s inner city and is originally an old university building. Andreas and Oscar Properties turned old university buildings into 69 perfectly located apartments in the middle of Stockholm city a few years back. And now Andreas himself lives in one of the apartments. Let’s take a look at it shall we?! It’s perfect!
This is a glimpse of the kitchen that used to be an auditorium for the students. High ceilings, large windows with lots of light, and a limestone kitchen counter gives this kitchen quite the character.
The neutral colors in the living room are so right in time. As our lives get more stressed we strive for a home that is calm and brings us harmony and the neutral color palette helps with that. It’s so beautiful! The ceiling lamp is by the way from Andreas’ own collection for the Design Bar.
Throughout the whole apartment old and new pieces are mixed for that lovely familiar look that has been on trend for years now. So gorgeous!
You can read the whole reportage here and see even more pictures from this dreamy space.
