It’s the National Day of Sweden here today so why not celebrate it with some of my favorite Swedish designs during the years. I have managed to find some pretty good treasures among all that white interior we Scandinavians are known for. Scroll down to take a look… oh, and Happy Birthday motherland!
This home is located in Gothenburg, which so happens to be me favorite city in Sweden, and is probably my favorite of all time! I mean what is there not to like about this beautiful home? Call me if you find anything worth disliking and I may change my mind about it (not gonna happen, ever). Find more pictures here.
I love this one so much! So much inspiration in one place. This place is located in Malmo and was circulating the internet about 2 years ago when it was for sale. How I wish I was that lucky buyer! Find more pictures here.
This one is owned by a prop and interior stylist so obviously the flat is flawless. Located in Stockholm with beautiful original parquet floors, mid century-finds, lots of brass details, and a touch of 50’s glam. There’s hard to find something to dislike in this one too! More pictures here.
Swedish summer is the best and this Swedish country house is a close second. I love the cozy kitchen and that beautiful door in the bedroom. More pictures here.
You’ve probably seen bits and pieces of this apartment circulating on Pinterest for what feels like a decade now. I actually didn’t know it was a Swedish design until recently, but this just proves that we Swedes can do dark broody interior too. And, that we do it well. More pictures here.
